Profile:
Jesse Ormsby received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University
of Texas at Austin in 2007 where he focused on twentieth century
literature and creative writing. Between his freshman and sophomore
year at college, he spent two years in the Dominican Republic where
he learned Spanish. When he returned, he minored in Spanish at UT.
Jesse is a second year law student at the University of Houston Law
Center. He will receive his Juris Doctorate in May 2010. After his
first year of law school, he worked as the Howrey H.E.L.P.S. Extern
at the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program. There he helped with HVLP's
pro bono casework with document drafting, research, and client interviews.
