Profile:
Desiree graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 2005 and earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2008 from South Texas College of Law. During law school, Desiree was a law clerk for a firm concentrating in plaintiff insurance defense matters, and received the Association of Women Attorneys Scholarship in 2006 and Dean’s Honor List in 2008. After passing the Texas bar exam, Desiree was Associate Counsel for The Methodist Hospital and worked in the Grants and Contracts Department of the Hospital’s Research Institute.
Desiree has given back to the community by tutoring at risk students in Dallas and Houston area schools, as well as volunteering her time with children at her local church by teaching Sunday school classes.
