Profile:
Nathan J. Stallworth received a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000. During his college career, Nathan was a two-time All-American, Olympic Trials qualifier, and NCAA Champion swimmer for the University of Texas.
After
graduation, Nathan worked at Rindy Miller Media in Austin, Texas
as a media consultant specializing in political campaigns at both
the statewide and national levels. Then, he worked in the lobbying
office of Mignon McGarry where his clients included, PepsiCo.,
Frito-Lay, Houghton Mifflin, and Experian.
After
working six years in Austin, Nathan moved to San Antonio, Texas
where he earned his Juris Doctorate at St. Mary’s University School of Law in May 2008. In law school, he was elected as a Senator in the Student Bar Association and became a member of Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity after making the Dean’s List. Additionally, Nathan chaired the Community Service Committee on the Student Bar Association and was awarded the Special Olympics – Area 20 – San Antonio “Civic Organization Volunteer of the Year Award” for his efforts in recruiting law school students to help volunteer at numerous Special Olympics events.
Most
recently, Nathan was General Counsel and Vice President of Operations
for a small real estate company in Houston, Texas specializing
in buying, managing, and selling multi-family properties.
Born
and raised in Houston, Texas, Nathan has always been deeply involved
in the community devoting many years of volunteer service to Special
Olympics programs throughout Texas.
